Anastasia has won numerous awards for her performances as an actress, including the distinguished Dean Goodman Award for Best Actress, and Outstanding Achievement in Theater for her performance as a murdering prostitute in “Nuts”, and Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of a beguiling and manipulative German reporter in “Sight Unseen”.
She is also the recipient of numerous Cleo awards for commercials co-produced, with original songs and lyrics she wrote for a CBS affiliate. In addition, her voice-over skills have garnered awards for projects in which she has provided voice.
Ms. Blackwell was listed as a prominent Gothic writer of the early 21st century, by Andrew Smith, in the Edinburgh Critical Guides, “Gothic Literature”, 2013.
In 2018 Anastasia co-starred in “Disillusioned”, a comedy pilot that won Best Comedy Short in the Nice Film Festival.
In 2019 she co-starred in”Miriam Graves”, winner of Best Thriller and nominee for Best Film and Audience Favorite in the IFS Los Angeles Film Festival.
Her Urban Fantasy screenplay, I AM HUMAN, was selected as finalist for Best Comedy in the ScreenCraft Screenwriters Competition, 2019. And was a recipient of Wiki Awards in 2021 for “The Chamber of Curiosities” and “The House on Black Lake”, for best teleplay and best screenplay.
